Erika Del Carmen Ruiz is an agender fem (they/them) poet and organizer from San Bernardino, California. Erika received their B.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Redlands in 2017. Their first poetry collection “Something Close to God” is forthcoming November 2024 through Querencia Press. Ruiz has also been published in The Redlands Review and shufPoetry and was also the Poetry Editor for the LGBTQ youth literary magazine inQluded before it disbanded in 2020.
